How sweet is Sharon; and clever Terri with that whip cream.
I talked with Paul today and he said he took the kids up to visit with grandma Ruth and they had a ball. No wonder mom was so tired!!!
Love you much, see you this summer, we are thinking July for the family reunion. If mom isn't up to it we will have our own family reunion in the bird and bunny garden.
I am feeling much better and was able to pot my spring flowers this year on the back porch. That was a joy. Started trimming some bushes but haven't cut down any trees yet. Alec has been tending to the heavy duty tree cutting and also added a new top of dirt on Sable and Frodo's graves and is planting flowers and placing statues for them. So that's good. He really loved his dogs. Wants another one, but we just can't do it. Sable had a double life span living to age 12 where a normal is age 5 or 6 for mastiffs. Frodo was very healthy but had bone cancer at age 5 and died like his grandfather did at that age.
So glad mom is surrounded by so much love and interaction. You all have wonderful ideas with the bird feeders, reading books, yummy food and lots of music and conversation.
love to all,
Diane
...and Happy Mother's Day all you wonderful young women, I know you did!!

Hi all: Saw Mom today for mother's day. Boy- her room is overflown with cards for Mothers's day from all. She feels very loved. Mom has been eating very well. She loves that macoronie and cheese and yesterday she had a small bowl full and today had the same. She is very alert and communicating very well. She finished her macaronie and cheese and I asked her if she was ready for some desert. She nodded yes. Dessert was applesauce, when asked if she wanted that, I could see she was a bit disappointed and shook her head no. I said how about some flazored ice- again she said no. I said well maybe Terri left something better in your fridge, I will go check- she nodded yes.I found Terri had left pumpkin pie and whip cream! When asked if she wanted that she nodded emphatically, Yes!she ate a small piece and had a half glass of milk.We cleaned up her teeth and it was about 7PM and the helpers got her into bed. She was asleep by the time I left at 7.20 this evening, with a full belly. The weather was very sunny, but not warm. I think our high here today was only in the 40's. was cold, cold wind. Mom did not go out. I offered but she said no. We had a full batch of birds at her feeders, saw cardinals, blue jays, doves and sparrows. Some of the seed from the feeder falls on the ground and right outside Mom's bedroom window was a brown bunny rabbit. how sweet!Love to allS
