update for Ruth Ballis

Hi Family: Teri arrived here in Ohio today. She began working immediately with the admin and the doc to get a full review of mom's chart and medications. It is pretty obvious to us here in Ohio that mom is not the same as when she arrived in Ohio and that she is more than a bit off. I have noted the last good-interactive visit I had with Mom was on 3/19 when BethAnn and Scharlotte were there with me. Since then, mom has gone further off, and Friday and Sunday had terrible headache.

Teri will let us know what comes of the med review and where we go from here.   Mom has had a steady stream of visitors, so much so that one of the women who lives at the home Marian, came up to us Sunday and asked how mom was. When I told here mom was not feeling well and had a headache, she said- maybe she is worn out from having so many visitors!

Seeing our big crew caring for our mother is not a common sight in a care facility, so many people there are lonely and just wishing for good company and conversation. I think they are a bit amazed by mom's extraordinary family! Congratulations team, we are making an impact.

Dawn and Doug have left a very beautiful quilt with "Little Grandma" - It is special and a real token of their love. Mom looks so comfortable in it! She loves the warmth, you can tell.

Saw mom today, Jim and Teri were also there, we tried reading a bit of wind in the willows, but mom is still a bit distracted by the medication and not up to reading. Hopefully when her med gets under control we can enjoy one of her old favorites!
Love to all
